The reasons why this Manual was written are several, on the first place to motivate the lay co-workers, canvassers, and workers to better understand the divine origin of the calling to the ministry of the printed word whose objective is to evangelize by means of the „silent witnesses“ as well as to instruct those who work in this way to do it as efficiently as possible to gain souls for Christ.
The second aspect we must emphasize is to estimulate the interest in the history of evangelization through the printed page in order to awake the same spirit as the pioneers.
The third objective is an analisis of the main points that are the foundation of the work done with literature.
We entrust you with these instructions and indications, which are the fruit of years of experience, hoping they may cooperate with „a grain of sand“ in the important work we have ahead of us as co – workers of the Lord, to take the last message of grace and salvation to a world that perishes, in the power of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
